Trading begins at 00:00 on Monday and ends at 23:59 on Friday (MetaTrader time). Keep in mind that MetaTrader operates in the Eastern European (EET) time zone.
The Asian trading session begins at 02:00 EET when the Tokyo stock exchange opens; the European session starts at 09:00; the American session starts at 15:30, with the New York stock exchange opening; and finally, the Pacific session starts at 23:00.
The volatility of each currency pair changes throughout the day, while quotes movements become more intense when important news comes out.
